The first Free-for-All Brawl.
8000p ships battling in an arena all at the same time.
Nukes, Obliterators, and Asteroid Thrusters were banned.
Tinkrell were limited to 53 generators.
There were three rounds with a 30,000 sized arena, and then three rounds of ‘Close-Quarters Combat’ in a 12,000 sized arena.
Aequinoctium Industrial Coalition Gryphon-class Battleship ‘Dormarth’ [by Owlfeathers]
Owl’s ship was beautiful as ever. Packed with armor and weapons, it spent it’s time slugging with the other brawlers and looking gorgeous doing it.
Alicorn Twilight [by Kamikaze dalek]
The quintessential kiter. A light-weight frame, some shields, and packed with thrusters, missiles, and Plasma Mortars. Unfortunately it was unable to handle other kiters with either more armor, or Tinkrell guns.
Battlecruiser [by Climhazzard]
Clim entered an 8000p version of his heavily-stacked Terran Battlecruiser. Fast, durable, and packed with weapons, it was a threat on the battlefield, but unable to escape the Tinks.
The Bringer of just about enough DOOM [by superbusy]
The only Crystaline submission, it proved durable way past what was expected – escaping death repeatedly and rebuilding to brawl some more.
Crazy Eddie [by Splinter]
More of a ‘thing’ than a ship, Splinter chose to smosh a collection of blocks together in a super-stacked array of Blast Pulsers. The time-dilation meant I did not have to run the tournament at half speed, and at close-range it was a dangerous threat. But, he repeatedly fell victim to bracketing by Sentinel splash weapons.
Dawnbreaker [by TMPS]
A Terran ship with an array of Proton Beams. The middle is connected with a factory, thus did not have the durability for the fights the Dawnbreaker generally attempted to engage in.
Frost Giant [by Icemourn]
Icemourn went with the trend of Sentinel arrangement of tough armor, splash guns, and a few Guass Beams to pop shields – which proved quite effective.
Groans – Moaning Drones [by Debris]
Avoiding damage while delivering opportunistic shots-to-the-face, Debris was overall able to survive until the end of matches and then use the Tinkrell superiority at single combat to best advantage.
Heide Class Battlecruiser [by Toxico]
Armor, armor, and more armor. The Heide Class was able to slug-it-out with the toughest tanks.
Kingenela [by LightningJC]
Had the unfortunate disadvantage of not only being Farmer, but also clearly being a pure campaign design with solar panels and a factory. The Brawl arena was not friendly to pedestrians.
Legendary Ziggurat [by Drillz007]
Once again proving the Ziggurat chassis’s worth, he took home a win in the third match despite having some thruster/A.I. issues.
MEGABUN (dun dun dun) [by InsaneAsylum]
Sentinel brutality generally proofed decisive, taking out many opponents and causing chaos. Unfortunately, luck was not quite on the Megabun’s side when it came to securing the win.
Onyx Indifference [by Floof]
Armor, Annihilators, and Floof’s beautiful design sense rolled into one large package. Indifference proved completely immune to a surprising amount of damage and simply out-lasted most of his opponents.
Orion-Class Ferolder Mk5-3 Stubnose [by Lapapsnow]
The Last Stand Navy’s Orion-class kept trading shots with anything willing to stand and fight, and proved dangerous in the Close-Quarters matches.
Soul of Soul [by Infamous YenYu]
A beautiful Red ship which came with teeth, surprising the unwary, including a Tinkrell and a Sentinel ship. Proving that you shouldn’t turn your back on an enemy, no matter how weak you think they are.
The Tink Goes Skrrrra [by Shakey Box]
Indeed, it went Skrrrra. Tinkrell guns and lots of thrusters, it was extremely deadly. Edged out by the tiniest margin by Debris’s assassin.
Too Slow [by Dukeslayer]
Meaning you are Too Slow … because you’re weighed-down by anchor drones. Duke’s ship did it’s best to avoid all conflict and annoy anyone in range of his swarm. His strategery to play for a draw was outdone by Tinkrell guns.
Vulnerable in the Rear [by MonsPubis]
A hilarious combination of multi-directional Torpedo bays and detachable kiter escape-pod at the rear. It was indeed vulnerable in the escape pod and ended-up taking fire to the ass quite frequently.
When you see it you shit brix [by XDERP7]
A Bee brick of PD guns – it survived quite often, but was generally unable to deal enough damage to secure kills.
