FREE-FOR-ALL BRAWL #3 – Cannons Buffed!
8000p ships battling in an arena all at the same time.
This time normal cannon weapons have their range tripled. (except Blast Pulsars)
Asteroid Thrusters were banned.
Tinkrell were limited to 40 generators.
Nukes and Obliterators or allowed, but their stats were nerfed.
There were six rounds with a 18,000 sized arena.
Armored Avalanche [by Icemourn]
The Armored Avalanche applied Sentinel splash guns and armor for a simple, but effective way to hammer enemies. … Sometimes it liked to fly backwards though.
Battleroid [by ImperiX]
A max-sized sphere built out of armor and container blocks, making it durable but still mobile. Rather than focusing on just cannons, the Battleroid equipped rows of torpedoes to pierce through any ship that got in front of it. … It was somewhat vulnerable from the rear though.
Berry Blast [by Dukeslayer]
Duke nerfed himself by building Farmer, but by some wizardry of hyperstacking still made a little monster. MLS Avengers machine-gunned targets and the Berry was usually able to escape retribution despite being Farmer.
Bulletstorm [by Zfall99]
Zfall99 went out on a limb as a first-time competitor by going with Reds. However, the Bulletstorm lived up to it’s name by spewing an impressive wave of Tempest firepower at foes. Unfortunately, it’s still Reds so it died often.
The Chaser [by XDERP7]
A Terran brawler weighing in at only 6034P, the Chaser struggled to chase and deal with the firepower of the other ships.
COG_Judicator [by Husk]
The Judicator was a Tink ship with some actual hull armor. The benefit of the armor is debatable, but as a Tink ship it still annihilated anything that wandered in front of it.
Fun with Farmer Range [by InsaneAsylum]
Another super-stacked Farmer ship. This little kiter packed long-range guns and missiles, but it struggled to apply damage and deal with the mobility of the other fast ships in the arena.
Gamma Core [by Starficz]
Hyperstacked Farmer ships are in season, and this one was mostly thrusters and a cage. If nothing else, it proved speedy enough to survive a lot longer than expected.
Groans MKX – Moaning Drones [by Debris]
As the defending champion, Debris’s Tink frame faced a tougher time in the small arena. But it was still the ship to beat, and ended many lives with assassin-like deadliness.
Mitosis2 [by Abstruse]
The only Crystalline ship on the field, it beat the snot out of the other armored brawlers with it’s buffed-range guns. It was somewhat vulnerable to the faster ships though.
Not_a_7993P_Submission [by QuantumReactor]
It is in fact a 7993P submission (liar), but it’s also an impressive build for a new competitor. Armor, mobility and firepower all packed into one nicely layed-out ship.
Orbiz [by Camo5]
The Orbiz is impressive for a Red ship in that it actually survived more often than you’d expect. It’s Tempests were also quite deadly, penetrating unsuspecting enemies with surprising efficiency. A little swirling ball of danger.
Out of Mind Heart Soul and Coffee [by Infamous_YenYu]
Another beautiful ship by YenYu. Even the firepower was beautiful when the hyperstacked Rail Guns let out a fan of blue bullets. Made the kiters dance.
Pre-Release, The Crack’in [by superbusy]
Armor, shields and more armor. Brawling with the other meat-heads, The Crack’in can take a hit … and take another hit. Hit back, and then take some more hits.
Renegade [by DeadronZodiac]
An armored Terran brawler with a nice layout. If carried it’s weight well against the other brawlers and had the pd to deal with many of the missile kiters and the Battleroid’s torps.
Terminus Corporation – Lance Frigate [by Owlfeathers]
The Lance Frigate is a little nugget of suicidal hate. Multi-stacked with nothing but Burst Lasers, it was completely ineffective verse the armored brawlers, but a counter to any other ship designed to be fast. … Unfortunately, hate doesn’t choose targets well and it often wasted most of it’s firepower on things it couldn’t hurt.
Terran Battle Sphere [by Climhazzard]
The Terran Battle Sphere is a variation on Climhazzard’s past kiters equipped with an odd array of spikes and mines. But there’s a fine line between ‘odd’ and ‘genius’, and this one’s definitely genius. It’s flexibility carried the day in an arena of tough opponents.
Ziggurat-Boros [by Drillz007]
It’s hard to change something that works, and the Ziggurat works. Yet again proving that it can handle a variety of opponents.
The Boss [by Owlfeathers]
A massive multi-faction ship with Tinkrell guns. The thing you need when you got to kill every motherfucker in that region of space.
